Wine Via Academy is an Approved Program Provider (APP) of WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust)in Turkey, the world’s most respected and leading organization for wine and spirits education and certifications, founded by Meltem Zeynep CoÅŸkun DipWSET. Wine Via Academy offers WSET Level 1, 2, and 3 Award in Wines courses in person in Ä°stanbul. Also designs and curates private and corporate tailor made wine pairing experiences and masterclasses.
Meltem Zeynep Coskun DipWSET, Founder & Instructor
Driven by a fascination with aromas that began in high school in Ankara, Meltem Zeynep CoÅŸkun first envisioned creating perfumes. Her professional journey, however, began with wine after graduating from Hacettepe University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, marking the start of her lifelong dedication to the wine world.
With over 20 years of experience, Meltem has managed restaurant wine programs, handled wine purchasing, and engaged in international wine marketing, vineyard management, blending, wine education and cellar management. In 2017, she founded her company, Wine Via Masterclass & Consultancy, through which she shared her passion for wine.
In 2018, she joined the DoÄŸuÅŸ Group, overseeing wine purchasing and programs across all d-ream restaurants, including Nusret and Borsa, for five years. She also managed the group’s Bordeaux fine wine cellar and began providing WSET Wine Qualifications to DoÄŸuÅŸ Hospitality employees in 2020. Since 2019, she has been leading the Argos Vineyards collective project in Cappadocia. Meltem’s formal wine education began in London in 2005 with WSET Level 2&3 . She gained her WSET Diploma in Wines&Spirits in 2017, became a certified WSET wine educator in 2019, and also studied at the Institute of Masters of Wine from 2019 to 2022.
Through Wine Via Academy, she offers WSET wine qualification programs and tailor
made wine pairing experiences and masterclasses to wine enthusiasts.
